HoverShot is a fast-paced 2D action game set inside a zero-gravity spaceship. You play as a robot with an aquarium for a head — and yes, there’s a fish inside. To move, you shoot your weapons forward, using the recoil to push yourself backward.

Features:

  • Zero-gravity movement: Navigate the environment by shooting to propel yourself.

  • Randomly generated levels: Explore new layouts with each playthrough.
  • Variety of weapons: Each weapon affects your movement differently and adds unique strategies.
  • Collectible items: Gather various objects that grant special abilities and upgrades.
  • Space zombies and alien enemies: Face challenging foes that keep you on your toes.
  • Epic boss battles: Prove your skills against powerful bosses at the end of each area.

This is a test version, featuring the first two areas of the game.

The movement is quite fun, I like the fact that you get damage by collisions. To improve, I think some sounds like the enemy exploding are a bit too loud, and the size of the font for some description texts of the items are too small. Pretty good in general, keep it up 😄👍.

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it
I’ll fix the sounds and font.
If you can share the demo with others, that would help me a lot!
